Prepare model prep. Inspect work coming and going to ensure all quality standards and client requests are being met. Work closely with internal customers, understand their requirements, and ensure that all specifications are being met.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES/OBJECTIVES:
Examine the device or if no device is present, examine the contents of the case for any defects, verify the condition of the device/case for acceptable continuation of manufacturing, and verify that we have followed the customers instructions up to this step by reading work ticket and Rx.
Trim models carefully on model trimmer as to not hit any teeth on belt. Trim worker and opposing together. Make sure models are trimmed down evenly and parallel to each other (left to right and anterior/ posterior).
Safety glasses must be worn while trimming on model trimmer and lathes.
The MP is required to stand at a workbench for long periods of time and do detailed work, must have good communication skills in interacting with others within the department and must be able to have flexible work hours.
Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity required.
Must interact well with others and identify defects, issues and barriers. He/she must accept identified defects/issues related to their work, make positive changes to correct and communicate ongoing in order to seek continuous improvement within the department.
