Job Tasks:

Ensure all lines are setup correctly in accordance to Packaging Work Orders.

Complete and verify all required documentation for the Packaging Work Order.

Verify that correct components are issued to the line in accordance with Packaging Work Orders.

Responsible for allocation of personnel to specific work areas as designated by the Denison Business Schedule or as otherwise directed.

Direct line workers to follow Packaging Work Orders and or specific tasks as required.

Ensure that all workers fully understand the tasks assigned prior to commencement.

Provide training to line workers on equipment and processes within assigned areas as required.

Ensure that no production begins until relevant documentation is signed by Maintenance Mechanic and Quality Operator.

Verify that all lines are fully cleared of components and left in a clean and neat status upon completion of production.

Responsible for the maintaining and ensuring the cleanliness of all production areas.

Ensure correct number of personnel are allocated to duties as required by the Daily Business Schedule.

Provide daily production report and schedule of line personnel to Packaging Room Manager.

Ensure management is fully informed on any personnel and or production issues that will cause disruption to the Denison Business Schedule.

Ensure that cGMPs and GDP are followed by all line workers.

Management retains the discretion to add, change or to evolve the duties of the position at any time.

Physical Requirements: Receive instructions through oral and written communications accurately and quickly.

Convey answers or instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, and quickly.

Must be able to lift and move up to a max. of 50 pounds.

Employee will be subject to dust, noise, fumes and odors.

Employee will be exposed to inside and could be exposed to outside environmental conditions.

Occasional travel will be required, primarily, but not limited to travel between sites (Pawtucket and Lincoln, RI).

The physical activity of this position includes, but is not limited to: Climbing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, sitting, feeling, and visual acuity.

Education/ Experience: High School Diploma and/or Associates Degree 2+ yrs. experience and knowledge of production equipment and processes.

Proven work record to include the ability to perform all the following:

Manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment.

Working knowledge of cGMP, and Quality System Regulations.

Motivate and manage subordinates in an efficient manner.

Excellent team leader skills.

Problem solving in a time sensitive environment.

Ability to interface with all levels within the organization.

Organization Details: Interfaces with and reports to the highest levels of the organization.

Reports to: Primary: Packaging Manager Secondary: Director of Packaging. Tertiary: VP Operations Interfaces with all departments at all levels on an as needed basis.
