Job Title: Production Clerk
Department: Operations
Location: Smithfield, RI
Reports to: Planning Manager
Position Summary:
The Production Clerk supports the Planning Manager and the Production planner with administrative functions by maintaining Production records daily, weekly and monthly.
Essential Functions/Major Duties & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the data entry of all production documents. Enters daily production statistics into production Excel spreadsheets for company distribution.
2. Responsible for transferring information from internal spreadsheets into ERP system.
3. Enter all production orders input data in SAP.
4. Ensure all completed production orders are finish in SAP.
5. Reconciliation of EOD and EOM reports.
6. Maintaining 100% accuracy of records in a timely fashion.
Skills/Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required which include but are not limited to:
1. High School diploma required; further education or certification preferred
2. Proven experience in data entry or relatable field.
3. Experience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning)
4. Excellent skills in Excel a must.

2. Demonstratable knowledge of Bill of Materials
3. Excellent communication abilities
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
5. Good at math and statistics

Work Environment
This position operates in both an office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. Additionally, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, above average temperatures, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Safety
Trained in all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to handle tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Travel
Travel is local during the business day.
