For over 40 years THE EGIS GROUP has been one of the premier insurance agencies in Rhode Island. We are a family-owned insurance agency and we are seeking an administrative assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
-Perform clerical duties such as database management, mail sorting, answering phones, office tasks, scheduling, etc.
-Assist with marketing projects
-Strong attention to detail and great customer service experience
-Must be able to multi-task and enjoy working with others
-Nurture long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service
-Handle and resolve complaints from customers
-Effective communication with customers through email, telephone, and mail.
-Enhances insurance agency reputation by providing quality service to new and existing customers
Qualifications:
-Rhode Island Property and Casualty Insurance License is a plus (training available)

-Basic computer skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Effective time management
-Well organized
-Works well in a team
