Project Estimator
Reviews all new estimate requests daily and ensures a timely response
Prepares detailed quotations and ballparks from design drawings
Maintains electronic archives of quotes and back-up information
Communicates clearly with Sales, Design and Operations on project plans, needs and schedules
Maintains updated budget allocation information for communication to Sales and Design
Assists in developing and maintaining vendor relationships and work to improve quotation timeliness and accuracy.
Coordinates and keeps database of material pricing
Travel up to 25%
Requirements
High School diploma and at least five years of estimating experience within the events industry, trade school equivalent, or a combination of training and experience.
Ability to work effectively with clients with excellent customer service
Ability to work effectively on a team or individually
Ability to work with mathematical concepts, fractions, percentages, and ratios
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Organizational and time management skills to plan and perform work within specified timeline.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where “Time is of the essence”
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to effectively present information to internal or external customers
Detail oriented and a self-starter
Reliable & Efficient
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Outlook
Additionally Preferred
Proficient in SharePoint and TEAMS
AutoCAD experience a plus.
Quickbooks experience a plus.
