Sightsailing of Newport (sightsailing.com) has been offering daily sailing cruises and private charters in Newport for 30 years. We are a top rated attraction in Newport. We are now accepting applications for part time licensed captains for sailing this summer for our 34' vessel Starlight. Applicants should be good, confident sailors with good boat handling and social skills. Being friendly, making guests comfortable and being personable play a large role. You should be able to commit to a regular schedule and available to sail anywhere from 2-4 days per week including one weekend and holidays from late May into September. You should be very reliable and able to get to work on time. You will be sharing the sailing day with one other captain. At a minimum, you need to have an OUPV, USCG license for Starlight. Must pass a pre employment random drug test and enroll in our industry required random program.
