Develops the parameters of each plan document by interpreting the Summary Plan Descriptions to ensure proper claim adjudication.
Enters data into the computer to prepare new policy or change to existing policy.
Audits completed abstract, updates on-line benefit verification form and mental nervous fax information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associates degree in a related field and two years of claim related experience.
Written and oral communication skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
PC proficiency.
Or any combination of education/experience that would provide an equivalent background.
