Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of the Data Migration projects.


Objective: To ensure consistent, accurate and timely delivery of major projects. The project manager takes charge of the project resources from inception to the final delivery of the project deliverables to the customer. The Project Manager is also key to the bid/pricing process and agreeing scope and timescales with the client. Migration project from Lotus note to Microsoft stacks/ C#.


Key Skills: Estimation, project control, structured project management methods, leadership, excellent communication, deep understanding of Data Migration, software build and QA process.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Customer needs are met and managed at all times
  • Assist in scope definition. Responsible for scope control
  • Preparation of project artefacts (PID, Plans, Budgets, Reports, etc…)
  • Effective planning, monitoring and management throughout project lifecycle
  • Provide support and direction to the team
  • Maintain healthy communication channels internally and externally
  • Identify potential conflicts or issues and proactively manage project changes
  • Ensure project is driven at all times
  • Preparation and delivery of project management reports for senior management

The Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent the company in a client facing role
  • The ability to take responsibility for high quality and on-time project deliveries
  • Proven ability to deliver Data Migration projects
  • Proven ability to operate within a multi client engagement
  • In-depth understanding of project management methodologies
Ability to understand and deliver on customer expectations

POSITION DESCRIPTION The purpose of this position is to provide support with a Design Authority Manager to the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project. Responsibilities include oversite of Design Engineering staff who provide direct oversite of Architect Engineering (AE) firms preparing new designs and modifications to existing equipment and associated systems for the SRPPF project. Safety is a primary responsibility for all employees working on and off SRS. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Previous SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures Working design experience in a nuclear industry/facility including familiarity with NQA-1, commercial grade dedication, etc. Minimum of 5 years in engineering management. Minimum of 15 years nuclear or engineering experience Experienced in preparing, monitoring, and reporting for plans, including schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements associated with solving complex engineering problems and projects. Able to perform field walk-downs including leading teams to perform equipment trouble shooting and restoration of function and to document as-installed conditions and to inspect equipment condition. US Citizen LOCATION Savannah River Site Aiken, SC Position will be primarily performed at SRS and various off-site locations as needed. The Savannah River Site (SRS), a 310 square mile (198,046 acres) Department of Energy site, is located in the sand-hills region of South Carolina. It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia. SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.
