KIDS TEETH, the private dental specialty practice of Pediatric Dentists, Dr. Will MacDonald and Dr. Mike Myers, is seeking a full-time human resource and business practice manager.

In addition to providing conscientious, ethical dental services to our children-patients, our practice values highly prize excellence in communication with co-workers and everyone visiting our practice. The Practice Manager position is key to our organizations daily smooth operation, content and productive staff, and on-going development as we plan for continued growth and recognize opportunities to implement new technologies and processes.

Our Practice Manager role is diverse in responsibility. After an initial training period with our Team Leaders to learn the language of our dental specialty and administrative systems (such as scheduling/check in/check out) the Practice Manager will:

Function as personnel director to our 21-member staff

Assure employee compliance to Kids Teeth codes of conduct

Develop the leadership and communication skills of department supervisors

Coordinate multi-step hiring process to fill periodic job openings

Oversee initiatives of those responsible for business marketing

Carry out project research and implement of business plans

Track and analyze practice metrics

Track budget spending and oversee financials as instructed by Doctors and CPA

Work with executive team on special projects and growth initiatives

Qualifications to apply for this position include:

1. 5+ years of professional business management experience requiring parallel skills, critical thinking, positive and diplomatic communications, and creative problem solving. Ideally, prior work experience has been gained in a comparable small business environment.

2. In the mix personnel supervisory experience, 5 years minimum. This is not a detached desk job; it is direct oversight and collaborative management to facilitate team-discovered solutions and high morale.

3. BS or BA from accredited University in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Marketing or related field. Candidates who did not complete college will only be considered if possessing exemplary leadership skills.

4. Experience in the dental/medical industry is valuable, but not required. We are committed to hiring the right person and eager to offer industry training to support the long-term success of the Kids Teeth Manager.
