Director Business Operations to work in our Charleston, SC office.
Job Description:
This position provides strategic and operational business and financial management support to the division manager, Directors, and Program/Project Analysts.
Direct supervisor for the Program/Project Analyst group
Maintain the Division Financial Plan - consolidation of individual contract financial plans
Support the Division Manager in all financial/contract activities
Conduct pricing analysis and coordinate with corporate contracts for pricing related activities for all Division proposals
Support business development and capture activities
Prepare and update division budgets and forecasts
Perform advanced analysis on division financial models
Monitor program expenditures, both labor and non-labor
Identify contract issues during routine financial analysis, develop recommended corrective actions, and implement
Develop new tools to support business and financial models within each contract as needed and appropriate
Provide business and financial training to division program managers, program analysts, and project control personnel
Required Skills:
BS in Technical or Management Field required, Masters desired
Must have a Secret Clearance
Extensive experience with MS Excel; this is critical and may be tested as a part of the interview process
Intermediate experience with Word and Power Point
Attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility
Strong Communication skills - written and verbal
Planning, organizing, and prioritizing
Problem assessment and problem solving
Information gathering and information monitoring
Desired Skills:
Extensive experience with DOD contracting, ideally in the NIWC Atlantic environment
