Enjoy life's most important moments in our 2,500 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, with glistening chandeliers and sunlight streaming through soft white drapery for intricate glamour. Iridescent wall covering, ambient lighting and silky rugs create a warm whimsical feeling.

The Cavalier features a 935 sq. ft. pre-function hall and two meeting rooms for business and social events. Every space is meticulously decorated to pay homage to our rich heritage while embracing contemporary luxuries and technology. Our beautiful estate grounds and gardens, and our oceanfront verandas are gorgeous venues for outdoor celebrations and weddings.

Manage Banquet service operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchisor policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Position is responsible for long and short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Banquet section. Recommends policy and procedural changes. Implements and monitors the section's budget and manages expenses within approved budget constraints. Outdoor Banquet logistics experience is a huge plus!

Qualifications:

College education preferred

5 plus years in catering management including at least 3 years managing high end luxury events or banquets in a country club, special event venue or preferably a hotel

Exposure to scheduling, PO processing, time cards calculations and expense control systems preferred

Ability to make occasional decisions which are generally guided by established policy and procedures

Excellent English verbal and written communication

Performed in an operation of 2 million in Banquet yearly sales.

Broad knowledge of Restaurant / Banquet Industry

Possess good leadership and organizational skills

Demonstrated computer skills: Be proficient in Word and Excel

Experience in Corporate atmosphere a plus

Knowledgeable with Delphi system and or optimal settings.
