Tavern & Table on beautiful Shem Creek is currently seeking passionate, dependable and self-motivated AM & PM line cooks Experience in woodfire, grill, saute and/or fry is essential. Must be willing to work holidays & weekends. Qualifications:
-1+ years of kitchen experience.
-Experience with all kitchen work, including but not limited to sanitation, knife work, vegetable prep, protein prep, produce/herb knowledge, general food safety, organization and cleanliness.
-Ability to communicate with a team and execute a busy service.
-Ability to lift 50 pounds.
-Ability to stand and stay active for long periods of time.
-Able to maintain standards of cleanliness and following health code requirements.
-Ability to work weekends and holidays.
-Thirst for knowledge and to continually grow in and with the kitchen crew.
-Timeliness is mandatory.
