Live-In Caregiver needed by private party on James Island
Can sponsor Work Visa if required
For our mother :
- Is in her 90s
- Is mobile / ambulatory (uses walker)
- Has dementia / alzheimer's
Caregiver will get :
- Competitive compensation (negotiable)
- Room and board (your own private room with locking door)
- All utilities are provided as part of compensation (excluding your own cell phone)
- House has Cable TV and Internet (WiFi inside house)
DUTIES INCLUDE: (but not limited to)
- Mobility assistance : help with getting in and out of bed, shower, car
- Assisting with personal care : bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
- Basic food preparation : preparing meals, snacks
- Housekeeping : including light cleaning, laundry, other tasks
- Transportation and/or Errands : including buying groceries
- Companionship/Safety Supervision : providing constant companionship and general supervision
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have two professional and two personal references
- CLEAN criminal background (background check will be performed)
- CURRENT documentation of a two-step PPD (for TB)
- Must have your own cell phone
PLUS POINTS (nice to have but not necessary) :
- Valid driver's license
- Registered vehicle that is reliable and insured
- At least ONE YEAR experience working as a caregiver for a 'non-family' member
