Coastal Eye Care is looking to hire an ophthalmic technician. Come work closely with the optometrist to provide thorough eye and medical care to the James Island and surrounding communities. Previous experience in the field of eye care is highly preferred but a positive personality and willingness to provide quality professional service to our patients is a must.
Daily performance will require greeting patients, preparing and managing records, preliminary testing, case presentation, assisting the optometrist, assisting with glasses orders, ordering and managing contact lenses, answering phones, scheduling patients and general house keeping. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work well with others, displays good problem solving abilities, is responsible, adaptable and professional. Work hours are 8:20am-5pm M-Th and 8:20am-4pm Friday. Punctuality is a required.
