Come join our team! Voted in the Top 5 in Best of Charleston 2017 and 2018 and finalists for Charleston's Choice 2019, we pride ourselves on our excellent client and patient care. This part-time position (15-25 hours per week) involves assisting our technicians and doctors by restraining animals for examinations and procedures, preparing vaccinations, recording weights and temperatures, and setting up lab tests. We take pride in our calm, comforting, and relaxed approach with our patients - any applicant must be a good fit with this level of patient care. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; experience in animal handling in a veterinary clinic setting is required. Must be able to work weekends and have a flexible schedule during the week (we are willing to work with school schedules if those schedules fit our needs). Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted; applicants must be aware that this is a physically demanding job.
