Cougar Moving Company, Charleston's premier moving service, is a locally owned moving and relocation service that has been highly dedicated to providing the Low Country with an excellent quality of service since it was established in 2012 by two highly motivated, hardworking students at the College of Charleston.
Cougar Moving is seeking a highly dedicated, hard working, and goal oriented individual with a knack for great leadership to join our team of incredible moving service providers. The job position is a labor intensive job. The active site manager is in charge of overseeing an individual moving site of our customer's while leading a team of highly trained moving specialist to ensure the efficiency and safety of each individual move for the job site, our customer, the customer's belongings and home, and our moving team.
The position is a Full Time position. One must be able to and feel comfortable with driving moving trucks ranging from 17' to 26' in length (the size of a U-Haul). A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS A MUST.
-Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
-Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, push and pull heavy objects and items consistently throughout an 8 hour period.
-Must be able to drive a 17' to 26' moving truck (similar to a U-Haul truck, CDL Not Required)
-Must be able to greet and effectively communicate with customers while on a job site.
-Must be able to lead a small team effectively and communicate efficiently throughout the moving process.
-MOVING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED, BUT ARE WILLING TO FULLY TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE AS NEEDED
