The SME 3candidate will be part of a larger team providing support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Defense Health Enterprise Application and Desktop Virtualization Team. The contract provides engineering support for all aspects of Enterprise Server and Application Virtualization technologies in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) medical and administrative applications; to include continued support for each organization's major/current Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Major technologies supported are:

Desktop Virtualization using Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Published Desktop Technologies to include:
VMWare View/Horizon

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop)
Amazon Workspaces
Qualifications
Experience Requirements Candidates must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in in virtualization technologies including COTS products available from Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware.
Fifteen (12) years of hands-on experience with virtualization projects supporting Military Health Systems, Service Medical components, DoD and Federal government. Must include at a minimum:
Experience in three of the following five areas:

Test & Evaluation
Training
Certifications Certified in any of the virtualization COTS products including but not limited to:
Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)
Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA)
Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator
AWS Cloud Practitioner
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Citizenship
Clearance DOD SECRET or higher; Or the ability to obtain the clearance.
