Executive Assistant to the CEO (High-Performance / Biotech Scale-Up)
Full-Time
Charleston, SC (On-Site Only)
We are searching for an assistant for our CEO of a 40-person biotech company that has grown to a $200M valuation in just eighteen months. We are scaling fast, executing aggressively, and aiming to cross $1B+ in the next 18 months. To sustain this pace, we are hiring an Executive Assistant who is as driven, sharp, and operationally disciplined as our CEO.
This is not a traditional assistant role. This is a performance multiplier role. Your job is to ensure that he operates at peak mental and physical output every single day. You will work side-by-side with him across: the gym, laptops, whiteboards, meetings, and planning sessions to keep the company moving at full velocity.
What You’ll Do
1. Protect and Optimize the CEO’s Performance
Ensure he eats well, trains well, supplements well, and sleeps well so he can make the best possible decisions for the company
Build daily systems for him that remove friction, distraction, and wasted time
Proactively manage his energy, not just his time—anticipate bottlenecks before they occur
2. Run Point on Operational Execution
Coordinate meetings, priorities, follow-ups, and cross-team communication
Build clarity from ambiguity—synthesize chaos into clean action plans
Think several steps ahead and make judgment calls autonomously
3. Manage Personal + Professional Logistics
Travel, scheduling, and environment optimization (home, office, hotel rooms when traveling, etc.)
Keep the CEO’s personal infrastructure and routines dialed so leadership stays sharp and focused
What You Must Bring
1. Hunger
This role is for someone who wants to be close to the fire—someone who loves fast growth, loves impact, and wants to be in the room where the real decisions happen.
2. Intelligence
You need to think quickly, write clearly, make strong decisions, and be comfortable around science, biotech, investors, and high-caliber operators.
3. Physical and Mental Discipline
Ideally you are an athlete or former athlete, who understand the value of fitness, recovery, and personal excellence.
The CEO cannot be optimized by someone who doesn’t optimize themselves.
4. Killer Instinct
We are competing in a category with real stakes. You must be competitive, unafraid of intensity, and wired to win.
This is for someone who wants to operate at the highest professional level.
