Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer (SDET) experience to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

Project Pitch
In this role, you will be responsible for test automation for various software applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Develop quality test automation solutions for performance testing.
• Coordinate engineering and product teams to design moderately complex, automated test methodologies.
• Performs end-to-end automation testing.
• Review product scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
• Ability to guide/mentor junior testers.
• Ability to work on a Scrum/Kanban team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, SoapUI and Jenkins.
• Experience with automation testing of enterprise level web and client/server applications.
• Proficiency with Java or other applicable object-oriented language.
• Good understanding of Cloud Services like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• ECS, lambda, s3, batch, SQS/SNS, cloudformation template
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Data Analysis
• Expertise with one or more test automation frameworks.
• Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA Xray, ALM, Octane, or a similar tool is desirable.
• Knowledge of testing types (functional, non-functional, end-to-end, regression testing).
• Experience working in Financial industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High-energy, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to provide results with minimal supervision.
• Able to write, present information, and respond to questions from stakeholders.
• Contribute individually and as a member of a team

Functional Testing background with the ability to prepare test plans and test strategies
Development experience required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
