Bachelor s degree or associate degree (plus 2 years of job-related experience) in computer science, information technology, or job-related degree OR equivalent work experience
8 years of enterprise-level network or related experience
6 years of technical network planning and implementation experience when acting as a technical networking resource on large-scale deployments
2 years of hands-on Cisco experience
Experience across several networking platforms
Responsibilities:
Support a large enterprise network of more than 1,000 networking devices
Perform Tier 3 support when severe incidents are escalated beyond capabilities of the operational teams
Carry a project load of 8-12 projects; projects are both internally network-driven initiatives, such as replacing firewalls, routers, or switches approaching EOL or externally driven, such as new application environments, new data center builds, or expansion
Location: Columbia, SC Must be local to Columbia, SC, or within commuting distance Current requirement is that candidates must commit to being onsite for initial training, which can be 8-12 weeks. Schedule will be a hybrid after training.
