Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or job-related field OR an extra 2 years of technical operation support experience
1 year of tech support/PC deployment operations work experience or other job-related experience
Some overtime (10 hour days) and possible weekend work as needed
Must be able to routinely transport items up to 30 pounds and occasionally items up to 70 pounds
Preferred:
A+ certification
Responsibilities:
Assists in rollout and installation of workstation software and hardware following established policies and procedures
Performs software updates and handles moves, computer setup, and peripherals from site to site
Maintains workstation hardware and software
Replaces hardware that has become faulty and corrects software issues
Ensures tools and equipment are licensed and approved by purchasing
Completes data backups and restorations for users
Assists customers/users and answers questions regarding their equipment
May order replacement parts and track statinventory of items
May perform software testing and evaluation of new software and hardware prior to production
