Import Specialties is hiring a full time European Automotive Mechanic. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional mechanic that wants to grow with us as a career opportunity. The workshop is heated and cooled. We are family owned and offer a clean and respectful work environment. We also provide a very good lunch daily at no cost to you. No Saturday or Sunday work hours. We are looking for high achievers who want to earn a high income.
Job Description: Diagnose and repair European cars (specifically Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen and VW Air Cooled, Jaguar, Mini and many others including vintage British and other rare cars. Performing thorough inspections. Responsible for keeping a clean and well organized work area. Willing to work with others as a team as needed.
Requirements: Have a basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and how engines operate. General mechanical aptitude. Ability to diagnose and be good at puzzle solving. Have your own tools. Self-motivated and hardworking team player. Enjoy being around cars. Computer literate. Clean and well organized. Detail orientated. Be over 21 years old. Have good driving record. Work week is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5:30 pm only. Someone looking for a career opportunity, not just a job.
