This position is responsible and accountable for reviewing accounting,financial, contracts and vendor administration, and financial performancereporting aspects of the contract. The candidate is responsible for effectivelycommunicating with company management, the project team, and works side-by-sideto achieve successful project deliverables within the budget and costconstraints of the contract.Responsibilities:Understands contract pricing models and billing procedures.

Effective liaise and establishes relationship with client on contract operations.

Tracks, prepares and submits project funding update requests to corporate headquarters when contract modifications are received.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree inAccounting or Business-related field preferred

Ability to workindependently, self-motivated, proactive

Track record ofdelivering well-organized and accurate work

Strong written andverbal communication skills

Proven ability to workwell with accounting, contracts, and project personnel to accomplish tasks

5 years finance and accounting professional work experience in corrections or detention operations, federal contracting, or similar environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Familiar with other MS Office Suite offerings (MS Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)

Familiarity or proficiency with Cost Point, Cognos and Deltek T&E application a plus

Independent, self-starter who is comfortable managing within a distributed office environment.

Detail oriented and ability to multi-task several critical actions simultaneously.

Ability to work successfully with difficult people.

Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.

Experience with corrections or detention billing/accounting is desired.

Prior management/supervisory experience. Clearance requirements:

Applicants selected will be subject to background checks and government security investigations; and must obtain/maintain eligibility requirements.

Applicants must be a US Citizen or a Lawfully Admitted Permanent Resident (residing in the U.S. for the past 5 years).

Desired Qualifications:5 or more years’ experience providing project accounting support for services contracts for Government customers, including experience performing unbilled analysis and monthly accrual calculations
