Description: Requirement to perform many different tasks in direct support of the Engineering Department. Those tasks include maintaining the Organizational Site Policies and Procedures. Requirement is to work with multiple Functional Groups as they update their Polices and Procedures. Chair Quarterly Polices and Procedure Change Control Board meetings and process policy change requests from receipt to posted policy changes. Update Engineering Metrics on a weekly and monthly basis to include Staff meeting (weekly) and Operations Directorate (Monthly) metrics related to all programs (C-130, P-3, C-5 and F-16) that are directly impacted by Engineering. One tool is the Engineering Assistance Requests (EARs) and other data collected to provide the weekly metrics report along with the Engineering Situation Report (SITREP) to Senior Leadership. Another task is the POC for Engineering Business Continuity Plan (BCP) overseeing review/updates throughout the year. Support the ownership of all engineering folders by providing permissions to the folders as required. Provide graphics support for a variety of jobs across the site to include “Aircraft Delivery Diamonds” for delivered aircraft. Create graphics for aircraft platforms as needed (e.g. C-5, C-130, P-3 and F-16). Be able to work within our “SharePoint” (Web Site Work Place) and be able to set up folders along with operating inside of the Share Point sites.Be able to take control of several Aircraft Configuration Control Boards (CCB) working with multiple Functional groups in order to complete CCBs for P-3, C-130, C-5 and F-16 programs.Technical Order (TO) Review – review TO changes as received and determine if they should go to Program CCB or be posted for use. Review TCTOs to determine applicability and forward to Aircraft Records Section for Discrepancy Report (DR)s to be written or Program CCB if required.Create Program Project Drawing Listings (PDLs) for new programs and set them up on Engineering Technical Publications Web Site and coordinate with IT to add to Tech Pubs Menu. Grant menu access permissions in Tech Pubs. Approve Tech Data Access Requests. Selected candidate must be a US citizen.Basic Qualifications:Experience working in an aircraft engineering or maintenance environment.Experience utilizing Aircraft Technical Orders.Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Desired Skills:Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline from accredited university.The following skills are desired but not required:Experience with aircraft technical manual creation, i.e writing and illustrating.Engineering drafting skills related to engineering design support for on going design programs.Understanding of organizational Policies and Procedures development and oversight for publication of updated policies and procedures.Understanding of "SharePoint" web development and Corel Draw for graphics skills.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
