The Anchorage in the Village of West Greenville is now hiring a General Manager.
Since opening in January 2017, the Anchorage has been a key player in the revitalization of the Village of West Greenville. In 2018 we were named a Semifinalist for the James Beard Foundations Best New Restaurant award as well as The World Restaurant Awards No Reservation Required category. Our restaurant features eclectic small plates with influences from multiple cuisines rooted in one common theme, fresh ingredients. Our everchanging menu and evolving beverage program keep our staff and customers striving for new techniques, flavors, and ingredients. Our commitment to sustainability is not confined to our menu however, we value a family focused work environment that allows for an active personal life.

Skills Required:
ï§ 5 Years Full-Service Hospitality Experience Required
ï§ Ability to identify opportunities throughout the operation, leading with solutions and proposals
ï§ Superior communication skills (verbal/oral/listening)
ï§ Proficient in Restaurant Financial Knowledge (P&L /Budget/Beverage & Labor Costs)
ï§ Understanding of HR Practices/Policies/Procedures
ï§ Superior organizational acumen, prioritizing time and tasks with optimum efficiency
ï§ Full cycle project management: ability to plan, organize, direct and delegate, and follow through, holding team accountable

ï§ Advanced Wine and Beverage Knowledge
ï§ Purveyor Relationships
ï§ Service Training and Development Experience
ï§ An Understanding of the Health Code
ï§ Staff Training
ï§ Basic Mixology Experience
