Lodge Adviser - Mill Spring
Location: Mill Spring, NC
Schedule:
Wednesday 1 pm - 10 pm & 1 pm - 8 am alternating Wednesdays
Thursday 4:00 pm 8 am
Friday 4:00 pm 8 am
Saturday 1 pm 8 am
Responsibilities:
Plan and actively assist residents in their recovery process and attaining their goals
Provide a positive evening experience and encourage participation in planned events
Responds to any critical needs or crisis situation
Provides documentation on each resident
First responder for on call services throughout the night and may be awakened by a resident
Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree in psychology, social work, or other directly related field preferred
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build supportive relationships with residents
Ability to communicate both written on orally
Experience working with adults coping with mental health challenges or emotions distress preferred
Ability to effectively handle crisis situations
