Operations Manager New Vision Wilderness Therapy North Carolina
Reports to: Program Director
Responsibilities:
Oversees all operations and logistics for Franklin (Asheville) North Carolina
Identifying and maintaining New Visions high standards of superior quality gear and nutrition
Manage and improve systems for food and gear preparation, inventory, and disbursement, facility maintenance coordination, and timely completion of paperwork
Oversees Logistics Coordinator
Assists other departments when needed
Oversees gear and supply orders for multiple program locations
Be on-call as per the on-call schedule determined by you and your supervisor
Manages operations budget and expense reporting
Company fleet maintenance and purchasing
Skills Required:
Motivated, energetic, and detailed/organized, and a quick learner
Confident with vendor relationships and has demonstrated successes with internal and external customer service
Able to develop and manage budgets to promote program safety and efficiency
Possess strong communication skills
Have demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities
Basic vehicle maintenance skills preferred
Requirements:
25+ years old
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall organization, maintenance and
distribution of all program operations and logistics. Operation Manager manages the
staff within the logistics department, orders program supplies, oversees maintenance of
program gear, equipment, vehicles and facilities. The Operations Manager is directly
responsible for ensuring program operations consistently maintain safe, smooth and
efficient conditions for NVW students, families, visitors and employees.
First Aid/CPR Certifications (Wilderness First Responder Certification is required within 6 months of employment in position)
Minimum 3 years experience in related field
Employment dependent upon being able to pass a criminal background check
Clean driving record and reliable transportation
Able to adapt to the needs of a 24/7 operation
