We are a well-established and rapidly growing Design|Build Landscaping Firm with an opening for a Project Crew member to join our team expansion. Our projects are high-end select bid residential and custom commercial installations. The Project Crew position covers Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC regions. We provide life and accident insurance to our employees as well as paid training and much more. Pay is $17/hr+ depending on experience. We are a drug-free company.
The Project Crew role is to be a motivated member of a crew of 2-3 in the field that achieves outstanding quality on our projects. The Project Crew reports to the Project Foreman to develop strategies for success on various projects. The ideal candidate will have proven success as a Project Crew member in landscape construction, as well as be professional, dedicated, have a positive and professional attitude, and have excellent attention to detail. Our operation primarily runs larger multi-phased projects and needs crew members who desire to continuously learn new skills and progress in their trade.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a project crew member in the landscape installation industry
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Read or be willing to learn to read and implement scaled landscape drawings
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Attention to detail
- Have valid state-issued Driver's License
- Experience or being willing to learn to safely use heavy equipment(ie Excavator, Skidsteers, Tractors, etc)
- Ability to take direction and feedback in a courteous manner
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Willingness to teach and learn
- Adhere to work standards set forth by the company
