Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials and the day-to-day activities and work performance of the warehouse/facility.

Assign Associates and assists with interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

Monitors the flow of materials through the warehouse/facility process.

Makes recommendations for process improvements.

Ensures accurate inventory management of the shift.

Establishes and develops procedures for bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders.

Establishes policies for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsible for providing on-the-job training for warehouse/facility employees in all areas of their job duties including changes to company policy, procedures, and ISO-9001-2000 training and conformance.

Acts as Facility Safety Manager and conducts accident investigations and completes related documentation.

Other duties may be assigned.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREDMust possess strong interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate good communication skills both written and oral. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects. Must possess excellent personal computer skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products software i.e.; Word. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. Must have Internet experience.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid State Driver license.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
