Reputable SC company is looking for one outgoing, enthusiastic "people-person" to sample the brands of our clients in liquor stores in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton/Beaufort area. You must be extremely dependable and able to portray a professional image as you will be representing the top names in the spirits industry.
Look, other companies in this industry come and go, but we've been conducting the highest quality tastings in the state of South Carolina since they became legal in 2003! So ask yourself, do you want to do a few "gigs" for a couple months only to have the company you're working for disappear, or do you want a secure position that will be there for you as long as you provide quality service?
Most of our contractors have worked with our company for three or more years, (with a few having worked 10 years or more!). Many say it's the most fun they've ever had making money!
You must be available to work on BOTH Friday and Saturday afternoons. Please do not reply to this ad if you are not available to work both days. Events primarily take place in the 3:30pm-6:30pm time frame. All events are three hours in length. Sales experience is helpful but not required.
We are looking for someone who lives in the Hilton Head Island area or the immediate vicinity.
Again, we're looking for a highly responsible/dependable person who WANTS to work. If you have trouble showing up for work, don't have a car, are currently looking for full time employment, think you might move in the near future or are just plain lazy DO NOT answer this posting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age. (We prefer 25+)
Must have a current driver's license and dependable transportation
Must have access to a computer and ability to check your email daily
Must be outgoing and HIGHLY dependable.
Must be able to show up for work ON TIME!
Must be able to follow directions and work independently
