Palmetto Breeze is currently hiring for the Utility Worker position. This person would be in charge of cleaning and fueling vehicles, keeping the vehicle yard free of debris and hazards, and maintaining our facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Utility Worker performs cleaning, fueling, and maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
⢠Washes outside of vehicles as scheduled using steam cleaner, brushes, hoses, soap and water, and special cleaners to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
⢠Cleans interior of vehicles using brooms, mops, rags and cleaning products on a "when needed" basis. Posts new flyers and removes outdated notices on interior sign racks as needed.
⢠Collects and turns in lost and found items during interior cleaning process. Documents items on the Lost and Found Log, affixes tag to items, and turns them over to the Maintenance Director for secure storage.
⢠Performs building maintenance work, which includes interior building cleaning and parking lot cleaning, picking up all debris daily and special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Director. This includes yard and grounds maintenance, cutting and trimming grass and weeds and small building repairs/projects as assigned.
⢠Assists mechanical staff as needed. Keep work area clean and orderly. Follows all safety practices. Brings all safety problems to the attention of the Maintenance Manager immediately.
⢠Performs additional duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
This position is Full Time and includes great State Health Plan benefits and retirement. Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Applicant must also have a valid driver's license.
