Local fast-casual restaurant group is seeking an experienced manager for its frozen dessert concept.
ASSISTANT MANAGER
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the general Manager with all aspects of the restaurant and is capable of complete and successful operations of the restaurant in the GMs absence. They are responsible for the safety of staff and customers, sales, inventory, training, payroll, and all aspects of running the restaurant including, but not limited to the following:
- Opening and closing of the restaurant
- Hiring staff, new hire paperwork
- Employee Discipline, including written warnings
- The Safety and security of the restaurant
- Proper equipment care, maintenance and cleaning
- Training new staff
- Keeping inventory stocked
- Placing food and paper orders
- Ensuring excellent customer service with great guest experience
- Holding all staff to company standards
- Follow and Enforce all company policies
- Responsible for accuracy of cash and deposits
- Counting / Verifying Balance of Petty Cash and Cash Drawer Every Shift
- Researching cash variances and reporting any variance over $5 immediately to GM
- Enforce accurate coupon and discount policies
- Follow and ensure all recipes are made correctly and food quality standards are upheld
- Must be able to make all recipes to standards
- Must maintain a DHEC grade of 92 or above
- Maintain proper labor costs by making adjustments to sales volumes
- Maintain proper food costs through training, portion control and proper ordering
