Our residential construction company is looking for a general laborer.
If you enjoy fixing up houses and helping people in your community, you could be the perfect fit for our laborer job opening. You will assist in a wide variety of tasks and projects including roofing, siding, carpentry, drywall, and painting. The employment is full-time and there is opportunity to grow.
Job Responsibilities:
Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team.
Perform work at various heights with the proper utilization of safety gear and restraints.
Execute set up and take down duties within the work zone on a daily basis.
Lift, load, and transport tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Assist with roofing, siding, and carpentry.
Measure and cut lumber to desired specifications.
Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly stores for the night.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
Willingness to learn construction skills on-site.
Ability to work within a team and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Superb hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stand and work in all types of weather for eight hours or more.
Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy objects.
Be responsible and show up on time each work day.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid drivers license, solid driving history, and reliable transportation.
Full time position. Starting at $12 -$14 per hour.
