Find your future with us.The Boeing Company’s Law Department is seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join the Law and Global Compliance team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position provides administrative support in a variety of legal and compliance practice areas.The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision and perform multiple work assignments concurrently, often within a short period of time while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.This person must be highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; able to prioritize activities and perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality, speed and accuracy; have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should work well with others, clearly communicating requirements, expectations and deadlines, asking questions to obtain and share relevant information. This individual must have excellent judgment and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, including coordination with colleagues and clients in multiple time zones.Position Responsibilities:Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, teleconferences, WebEx meetings and conferences
Generate, revise, proo letters, documents, presentations, and correspondence
Triage and organize all forms of communication as desired including incoming calls, messages and correspondence received
Act as liaison and facilitate communications between the law department and clients, assess urgency of situation and determine appropriate action
Coordinate and process domestic and international business travel arrangements
Responsible for all logistics related to business travel using Boeing policies and tools to ensure travel efficiency, including providing extensive detailed travel itineraries (both domestic and international), and collecting/compiling data to provide visibility of status for traveler's review and/or signature
Monitor designated business traveler’s logistics and generate expense reports
Reconcile corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
Review, assess, prioritize monitor status of pending items, follow up and keep attorney/staff informed
Communicate a wide variety of information to multiple audiences verbally and electronically
Handle appropriately communications of a sensitive and confidential nature
Maintain files and correspondence using accepted legal office practices and company record keeping systems and procedures
Process invoices, track department budgets and generate reports using spreadsheets and internal legal matter management system
Coordinate with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources; order and maintain office supplies
Plan and implement logistics for executive level internal and external events
Provide back-up assistance to other Legal Administrators
Learn Boeing-specific software, including: Concur (travel/expense system), Passport (Matter Management System) and other databases
Develop presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week of on-site support.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple executives
5+ years of experience in heavy schedule management and travel or event planning
5+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Formal education beyond high school
Experience in a law office, in-house legal department, or other law business setting
Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
