Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As part of our team, the Accounts Payable Clerk will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial records, including processing payments, coding invoices, and responding to inquiries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process and code invoices in a timely manner Ensure efficient and accurate data entry for all account payable tasks Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments Reconcile account balances regularly to maintain accurate financial records Use Microsoft Excel and pivot tables to gather and compile data for reports Utilize software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Respond efficiently and professionally to inquiries from management Handle confidential information with discretion and independent judgment Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.
