Director Of Digital Technology

Vacancy expired!

Complete Description

Our client is seeking a Technical Manager / Technical Director to join their team and lead efforts in their e-commerce development space. This is a fantastic opportunity for established technical leaders, or a Senior Architect level technologist to grow their career doing exciting work in a rapidly growing and well-funded startup.

Key factors to consider when deciding whether to apply:

  • The culture of our client's technology organization is different than most. Their IT leaders (through CTO) are expected to maintain and grow technical skill sets by dedicating approximately 50% of their time to direct contributions to the technical work of their teams. If you are a leader who hates the idea of "taking off your tool belt" to advance your career, this may be the place for you!
  • Our client is a business in the sports goods manufacturing / outdoor leisure space. Part of their culture is a love for the outdoors, and while the next few years are going to be very busy, they work hard to protect weekend downtime for their team.
  • They are global company headquartered in Columbia South Carolina and are seeking candidates who will work out of their Columbia offices. They offer a relocation bonus and stipend based on role. Their offices are managed according to CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
  • They place high value on an individual's technical aptitudes and character traits - including work ethic, humility, teamwork, a desire to learn and grow, and being a problem solver. These characteristics are given as much or more weight than strict match to a job description.

If working in a dynamic environment where your work will advance the mission of the organization, and in which you can both lead and directly contribute to your team sounds good to you, and if you have alignment with the requirements below, please reach out immediately!
