Job Description

We are seeking to employ an Operator Grade 2 Plant to join our Kumba Iron Ore Team that is responsible for cleaning the earth-moving equipment and removing waste material from the allocated waste/spillage dumps by:

• Undertaking to the hauling of waste and spillage material to the allocated waste dumps
• Building and leveling of slime dams and waste dump areas according to specifications
• Maintaining the waste dump and slime dam levels, and inclines to the waste dump accordingly
• Inspecting earth-moving equipment before shift for functionality and safety
• Active participation in safety initiatives for example: STEPS And MEERKAT
• Conducting the required safety interventions before undertaking to any tasks

Qualifications

You will be required to have:

• Grade 12
• 1-2 Years of experience in Mining Operations and Plant Experience
• Advantage in working with ADT, Dozer and FEL machines
• Valid Driver’s License
