Fast-Casual restaurant ownership group out of the Sioux Falls area is Now Hiring for a full time Area/Regional Manager. Restaurants are in the fast casual sub sandwich segment, 3 locations with planned growth, and all within 1.5 hours of Sioux Falls. Position description and duties:
DESCRIPTION:
The Area/Regional Manager is responsible for leading the overall operations, and performance of our restaurants. The Area/Regional Manager works with Shop Managers and team to ensure #1 AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, clean shops, fresh food, proper recruiting/training of teams, budgeting and expense management, marketing, and sales goals are obtained throughout the restaurants.
Overall this position helps the company management and owners achieve their daily, weekly, annual, and future goals by working with each locations teams on a consistent basis.

Demonstrate and ensure operational excellence through the training, monitoring, coaching, disciplining, and encouragement of Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members:
LEAD BY POSITIVITY!
Working on the serving/prep line and showing them tips on how to improve areas = "get your hands dirty in front of the team
Conduct routine visits to restaurants to ensure each Manager is maintaining company standards. If any deficiencies are found, work with management and staff to clearly outline the problem areas and assist them in developing a plan of action to correct problems in a timely manner.
Have a structured meeting with each location manager at least once every three weeks to discuss updates/goals/performances/etc
How are sales and are we on track for bonuses
How are expenses food and labor, ways to improve and make better
Sales ideas and ways of growing/marketing the location more
Additional training needed in certain areas you have seen
Goal for that visit and future visits Tracking and follow up visit notes are tracked
Sales/Bonus Trackers are being filled out for staff to see at each location
Go through restaurant Inspections and Health Inspections
Goal is to have each location manager handle each issue that arises, you just make sure it has been completed
Make sure pricing is always up to date and accurate with restaurant POS software
Comes up with ideas for competitions/motivational tools for locations
Spot checks camera system to make sure speed, service, etc are being achieved
Directs and heads up Manager Meetings
Conducts Annual Reviews of Asst Managers/Managers
Also ensures Managers are doing 90 day/annual reviews with Teams
Training
Insures each manager is following through with new Training program
Always Training on philosophy of SERVICE, FRESH FOOD, CLEAN SHOPS
Managers submit completed training checklists
Helps Managers achieve weekly Sales/Food/Labor Bonuses
Approves inventory and supplies orders
Travel within 1.5 hours of Sioux Falls expected once every one to two weeks. During week, not on weekends.
Position is traditionally Monday - Friday with possible weekend hours.
40 hours a week at least expected.
