We are a professional business services firm doing business nationally. We have a need for a part-time (20 hours a month approximately), very professional, Payroll Processor and HR contractor. You would run regularly scheduled payrolls, implement new clients onto our payroll platform, manage payroll changes and benefit changes, service our clients hourly, as needed. Duties consist, but are not limited to:
Run regular payrolls on time and consistently
Run reports to ensure there are no errors in the payroll
Endure that benefits are deducted from payrolls accordingly
Add staff to employees as needed
Pay contractors
Job Descriptions
Contractor Job Descriptions
Offer Letters
Employment Letters
Recruiting and setting up interviews
Understanding of Payroll
Taking benefits to market and communicating changes to payroll
Sourcing ancillary benefits such as LTD and STD
Unemployment issues
Workers Compensation audits, issues and reports
Consulting as needed for clients
Position requires commitment, consistency and integrity in your work. You would work from your home office / remote. Requires that you work as a 1099 contractor (pay your own taxes), have your own computer, phone, scanner / printer and transportation. You will be paid per hour after the client approves your time. Integrity and quality in your work coupled with a high sense of urgency and good customer service will decipher the length of contract as well as continued pay and additional hours / clients. You are in charge of your schedule so long as the payrolls are ran on time and the work is completed to the clients satisfaction.
