We are a local trucking company that sells and applies dust control and deicer products.
Job is part time, 8-10 hours per week, flexible schedule. Job duties include:
Process purchases and sales and track inventory
Assist with payables and billing
Assist with receivables
Process sales tax filing
Process vehicle registrations and truck permits
Process new hire paperwork and personnel records
Assist with payroll accounting
Process annual required reports
Other general accounting and office support duties as assigned
Answer phone calls and company emails and direct to the appropriate personnel
Skills required
Fluent with Microsoft Office software
Accounting software experience, Peachtree preferred
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Prior experience with general accounts receivables/payables duties
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good people skills and a positive attitude
