Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op is a cooperatively-owned grocery store located in the heart of Rapid City, South Dakota.
Breadroot is dedicated to supporting our local farmers and ranchers and connecting our community with their food sources! At the heart of our co-op is community; we currently have over 1,500 member-owners and we believe were stronger together. As you may know, many of our products come from local ranchers, farmers and producers. On any given day you may see Trish from Happy Meat Farms dropping off beef, or Todd from Gregsons Gardens dropping off his latest batch of greens. We hope you find it as fulfilling as we do to meet the people who raise the food our families eat.
We specialize in organic and Non-GMO food, as well as local and organic produce, grass-fed meats, bulk spices and herbs, wellness, and supplement products. The co-op strives to carry the newest organic food products. If you are looking for paleo, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, ethnic, or specialty food products we are your Rapid City source!
Our mission is to promote community involvement in the production, procurement, and distribution of natural and organic foods and other goods and services for healthy living. We envision a community strengthened by cooperative economics and driven by concern for the health and well- being of the planet and its inhabitants.
