Ameritrans Express LLC, is one of the nations leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices nationwide, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail as a Driver on a CDS mail route in the Mobridge, SD area.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sorting mail in delivery sequence for several active mailboxes
Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned miles line-of-travel.
Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
Other administrative duties are required.
MINIMUM VEHICLE AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
One (1) Dependable vehicle or a larger equivalent to provide about 120cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels, can be of any age so long as it is in good physical and mechanical condition. AWD or 4WD a plus.
$100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance cost.
Employment Begins: As soon as possible
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday.Government Holidays observed.
Hours: 7:00AM until finish
Salary: $150/per day
