Right at Home is seeking the assistance of personal care experts to help disabled persons at home.
We have full time and part time shifts available.
There are multiple clients and a variety of shifts consisting of helping them get up and ready for the day, a noon lunch preparation and tucking in at night. Although the duties can change slightly between clients, the following is a list of items most widely asked for:
Bathing assistance and personal care.
Grooming and dressing.
Preparing, cooking, and serving meals.
Assisting husband with eating.
Household chores including vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, emptying trash, and other basic upkeep.
Laundry: folding, ironing, and putting away.
Ensuring medications are taken at the correct time.
Assisting with shopping: following list and purchasing with provided cash.
Familiarity with gait belt,overhead lift, and communication devices (communication boards/programs).
