Nordstroms Installation and Diagnostic Center is looking to add a mechanic to its team. We work Monday - Friday only and from 8-5 in an AIR CONDITIONED shop. Nordstroms has been around for 50 years and prides itself on taking care of customers the way we would want to be treated. Are you looking for a shop you can be proud to work for? We turn about 300 vehicle a month through this shop and stay busy. It is a fast pace shop. We pay on a per hour in the building basis not just a flat rate on the car pay. We also have an incentive bonus paid monthly on top of your regular hourly pay that can add up to an additional 3.75 per hour. We pay a large portion of healthcare insurance and have a company 401K retirement plan in case you are need to roll yours over or need to start saving for the future. There are parts purchasing incentives for full-time employees and paid holidays too. Vacation pay is also provided. Last year we closed the shop for several days and went to the NASCAR races all expenses paid for our employees. You never know what might happen around here. We host a national radio show called Under The Hood which is America's largest call-in car talk show and we have a lot of business come in from the show to be repaired in the shop. This is a good company with good people you can learn from with room to advance. The tech we are looking for needs enough hand tools to perform general auto repair. Brakes, Struts, Tires, removing and installing engines and transmissions. Diagnostic experience is a plus but if it's not your strong point yet you can learn here.
