Maintenance Manager
Location: Sioux Falls, SD greater area
Wage: $80k - $95k / year (dependent on skill set and experience)
A local Sioux Falls greater area company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and direct the Maintenance Team. Integrate with Operations Team to prevent, predict, and analyze equipment failures while leading efforts to repair and maintain plant equipment to meet and exceed safety, environmental, production and cost goals. The best fit candidate will have a solid leadership and direction in the development of Preventative and Predictive programs.
What you get to do:
⢠Lead Maintenance Team to meet or exceed plant goals / targets, Perform all job duties and challenge others to perform in a safe manner,
⢠Lead plant shutdown maintenance planning processes and work execution assignments,
⢠Manage overall maintenance work flow for troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing CMMS system,
⢠Negotiate with vendors for best supply and cost arrangements for replacement parts and equipment
⢠Support troubleshooting efforts for production issues
⢠Improve maintenance practices to optimize product quality and quantity while controlling costs,
⢠Ensure predictive and preventative work is completed on time and utilized to improve uptime and reduce costs,
⢠Oversee plant construction project field workforce and recommend projects which improve financial returns,
⢠Meet Operating Budget by managing expenses,
⢠Participate in annual capital and operating budget planning and development,
⢠Support training and tooling for Operations Team to perform requirements of maintenance program in its scope of duties,
⢠Participate in off-hours on-call program thru scheduled rotational assignments.
What we need from you:
⢠Advanced training in electrical and mechanical trades is preferred with 10+ years related experience with previous supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
⢠Knowledge of dry material handling equipment, process piping, pumps, controls, instrumentation, gearboxes, electrical distribution, 480 and 4160 motors and switchgear.
⢠Strong written and verbal presentation capabilities, with the ability to make presentations to Board of Directors, Senior Management, investors, lenders, producers, customers and other groups including plant tours.
⢠Skill and experience to establish and maintain inventory tracking systems that are acceptable to management and regulatory agencies.
⢠Expertise and proficiency with spreadsheet software and basic knowledge of word processing software plus experience both researching issues and accessing information on the Internet. Ability to learn industry specific Maintenance Management software is an asset.
