Warehouse-Team leader opening at local distributor. We are a 120-year old family oriented company, and are looking for a new team member to join our warehouse. Position requires an organized, take-charge self-starter who has a high attention to detail. This position will perform the day-to-day operations of the branch, working with one other warehouse employee and sales rep. If you take pride in your work, enjoy keeping things organized, and like variety in your tasks, we would like to talk to you.
Duties:
Receiving, unloading, and putting away inventory
Pulling product for sales orders
Process daily billing of orders in computer
Work side-by-side with one other warehouse worker to accomplish daily warehouse tasks as a team.
Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills Required:
High attention to detail
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Good counting and mathematical skills needed to understand and work with inventory
Detail oriented, organized, consistent and able to prioritize.
A team player work together with others to accomplish common goals of company.
Self-motivated and self-starter.
Familiar with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word). Must be comfortable using a computer.
The ability to walk / stand for the duration of the shift
The ability to frequently push, squat, bend, and reach overhead
The ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
Forklift experience required
Ability to multitask in a sometimes fast paced environment
