What's it all about?

Visa is looking for someone to effectively grow the utilization of Visa’s digital products& solutions in the South East Europe (SEE) region, which encompasses Turkey, Romania, Greece, Israel, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia and Malta. The role will require strong consultative client engagement, active listening and relationship building skills to understand client strategy, priorities and needs. The role also requires strong internal cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, partnering closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics, Marketing, and Fintech and Proposition Development teams to integrate client go-to-market. The role holder must possess a unique combination of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, execution discipline and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. The role will require travel within the South East Europe cluster.

What we expect you to do, day to day.

  • Create and deliver the digital roadmap for the SEE region, sharing your subject matter expertise and acting in a mentorship capacity where appropriate.
  • Will be responsible for the digital product related VAS revenue targets and other KPI’s on SEE scorecard.
  • Lead the deployment of Digital Services across all stakeholder groups (issuers, acquirers, payment gateways, merchants, processors) and use cases (including e-commerce and proximity payments).
  • Lead the delivery, launch, deployment, and ongoing support for Security & Identity (e.g. EMV 3DS) and payment products and platforms (e.g. Tokenization, Life Cycle Management and Click to Pay).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for digital products including presenting at regional conferences (internal and external).
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of emerging trends and technologies within the payments industry.
  • Provide guidance to product owners on issues that help to localise products (e.g., pricing, product features, sales enablement tools, competitors’ products, regulatory constraints etc.).
  • Provide thought leadership to the cluster community on digital products and solutions as well as digital trends.
  • Evaluate change required to policies or rules being deployed in relation to new technology and platforms where global or regional initiatives may have negative d consequences for SEE.
  • Lead the collaboration, co-creation and co-development with key clients and local Fintech players in close coordination with internal innovation and partnership teams.

Qualifications

  • Mid- to senior levelexperience at a leading bank, financial institution, global payment network, or related payment company
  • Strong broad payments industry knowledge or experience
  • Optional: Management consulting experience in financial services and payments
  • Strong understanding of digital payment products
  • Proven experience in the delivery and launch of new digital services and products across numerous markets
  • Ability to translate clientneeds into product requirementsby adapting existing product and solutions to client and market’s needs
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysis
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with theability to effectively work cross-organizationally
  • Driven, resilient and positive under pressure
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Quick learner, flexible, comfort with ambiguity
  • Constructive and solution-oriented
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
