Job Description

To lead a team of solutions architects to create and design bespoke client solutions for WNS for new and existing clients, both domestic and international. This is a market facing leadership role that requires innovative thinking, international stakeholder collaboration and strong outcomes orientation.Lead the team of solutions architects – locally and at times internationally
Take the lead of some opportunities
Would be responsible for pre-sales, end-to-end solutioning, collateral development, business development support for opportunities across multiple business verticals
Create customized solutions which address client business constraints and leverage strengths of our organization
Maintain knowledge of industry trends in the domain - Research competition and updates on global market trends
Conjecture business challenges which are specific to target client and leverage our analytical experience
Propose delivery alternatives which address risk and investment appetite, stand out against industry competition and increase chance of our Organization’s success in bid process
Lead and or assign the end-to-end RFX process for specific deals allocated to the South African delivery location, supporting a number of business units
Liaise with cross functional teams and Subject Matter Experts like EXCO, operations, quality, finance, technology, transition, human resources, legal etc. for the creation and design of solutions
Ensure that the RFX response is clearly articulated and that the WNS's value proposition and credentials meet client's specific requirements
At times it will be required to present solutions to the client on behalf of WNS.
In association with Business Unit Heads, identify farming opportunities in existing accounts
Help to Improve bid win rates and strive towards attaining the allocated business unit growth targets
Assist Marketing in the content development of client facing collateral i.e. case studies, company brochures, due diligence, event and road show invites, presentations, and themes
Own and marshal Bid Committee meetings
Participation in special / strategic projects from time to timeAn advantage would be having worked within a BPM/O environment in a senior management position
Solution/presales and diagnostics/due diligence experience
Good end to end understanding of sales governance
A good understanding solutions management
Understanding of technology trends with specific focus on AI, Analytics, RPA
Experience in dealing with senior leaders across industries


Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with clarity and build strong working relationships, focused on teamwork, able to manage change for transformation assignments
Analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Strong ability to work with a cross functional team
Deep understanding of business processes and off-shore business environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills across CX levels
Must be flexible to travel as the role is client facing and visits may or may not be local and international.
Experience in story telling

Sales Support – Understand total solutions, Opportunity Assessment, Analysis of RFP/RFI/RFQ Documents, Discoveries & Scoping Workshops, Interview and collect requirements directly from clients / prospects, present capabilities, lead or act as Subject Matter Expert, create scope documents, Design global delivery models, Establish business architecture
Own the sales governance process (sales meetings, CRM systems inputs and outputs, sales reporting, bid reviews Opportunity assessments etc.)

Qualifications

Relevant business management degree;Project management certification will be an advantage;Above average proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint ;5+ years of experience in a solutions or business development role or leading a solutions teams at an executive level;5+ years of experience in a solutions or business development role or leading a solutions teams at an executive level;Previous experience in working with a multi-national
