Job Description

As our Section Manager Production, you will be part of the team that is responsible for producing a final product to the customer specifications as well as cost effective free-on-rail delivery for theclient by:

  • Ensuring that the final product to the specified quality and quantity is achieved
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy and unpolluted work environment that meets all legislative and statutory requirements
  • Holding a 2.6.1 Legal appointment and responsibility as per Mine Health and Safety Act
  • Managingthe section's expenditure within the approved budget to ensure effective cost control and savings
  • Ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve business objectives
  • Managing effectively the human capital to ensure a high performance culture

This role is in the PlantDepartment on a Band 6and reporting to the Plant Manager

Qualifications

You will be required to have:

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • BSc. HonorsDegree in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry
  • 6 Years operational experience in a Plant Production environment
  • 3 Years management experience in a Plant Production environment
