Job Description

As our Supervisor Electrical, you will lead the maintenance team to ensure that services on equipment, machines, processes and tools are executed in a manner that ensures maximum availability by:

• Managing the team’s performance and ensuring an empowered and motivated workforce
• Drafting, Reviewing and Executingthe maintenance schedule
• Making sure that Legal Compliance is according to the Mine Health and Safety Act
• Conducting inspections on equipment and maintenance execution to ensure maximum availability
• Engaging and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation

This role is in the Engineering Department on a band 7 reporting to theSection Manager Engineering

Qualifications

You will be required to have:

• Completed Grade 12
• Trade Test Electrical Engineering with First Line Management Certificate
• N6 Electrical Engineering

You will need to have experience in the following:

• 3 to 5 years Project Management
• 3 years'experience as a Master or Supervisor in mining maintenance
• 1 to 3 years operational experience in an open pit mine
